Within 10 minutes you are in the city of Oneonta - with shops, restaurants, mall and movie theatre. Next door to Elena's is one of the last 19th century mills to survive intact - Hanford Mills Museum. Here you can see a working mill waterwheel, a blacksmith forge and a gift shop with mill-made products and toys. For baseball families, the All Star Village in Oneonta is only 15 miles away and the Dreams Park in Cooperstown a leisurely 23 miles away.
